3 Nights / 4 Days
September 23rd-25th, 2018
This being our first retreat, we are inviting friends, family, colleagues and people who inspire us. We want you to be the first to discover what Lōkahi YogAdevntures is all about and experience what we have to offer as a new business. We also think you deserve an amazing 4 days to treat yourself to nutritious food, delicious wine, fun & inspiring yoga classes, cool workshops and a chance to meet some other like-minded, awesome people and simply just get some 'you' time.
Beyond that, You are someone who's opinion we trust, and who we believe can offer us an advantageous perspective, constructive criticism and beneficial thoughts and ideas. We ask that everyone keep in mind, we are looking for feedback and we hope you offer it openly.
We can't wait to Celebrate the Harvest Moon with you!

At the base of the Selkirk Mountains along Kootenay Lake lies 3 acres of cedar forest. Sitkum Creek runs the length of the property and an array of accommodation is scattered amongst the trees.
Located 15 minutes south is the town of Nelson, BC. An eclectic community with an array of unique stores carrying locally made crafts and wares.
The main home is a newly constructed 2 bedroom passive solar house.
The rest of the property has a variety of funky accommodation including the 50's bullet trailer, converted Sea-can and Camper Van.
A hand built, wood fire, cedar sauna is situated in the trees next to a cold plunge pool and available for use at anytime.
Hammocks are strung over a mossy area next to the creek for meditation, reading or relaxing.
Walking trails lead up the mountain from the property or Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park is 5 minutes down the road.
We aim to serve meals that are creative, delicious and filled with nutrition to fuel the day.
Recipes will be given to participants at the end of the adventure.
We provide meals made from as much locally sourced food as possible. We use foraged and seasonal ingredients.
Cooking with the flavours of the land sometimes means we serve meat and fish, however we can adjust to any dietary concern.
We want you to make this your trip. All activities are optional, however all activities are included in the price.
Morning Yoga Class
These will be invigorating classes meant to warm up and strengthen the body. Each day we will build up and focus on a different arm balance or inversion.
Evening Yoga Class
Deeper Yin and restorative classes will be lead at night. Allowing the body time to rejuvenate and recoup from the day and ending in a calming mediation to encourage a peaceful sleep.
Mala Making Workshop
We have collaborated with Kalika Jewelry Designs to bring you founder Liette Foy. Liette will be guiding you through the importance & use of Mala's while you hand select the gemstone beads that you will use to craft your own personal Mala from. Find out more about Kalika & Liette here.
Mountain Hike & Wild Plant Identification
We will be taking a hike through the beautiful Kokanee Provincial Park while we identify native plants that can be used medicinally and for cooking.
A picnic lunch will be set up during the hike and a guided meditation will be offered which allows for a deep connection to the powerful Kootenay Region.
Massage & Reiki
A one-hour Massage or Reiki session is included in the price. Sign up times will be during free time and offered either creekside or indoors (weather depending).
